Collaboration theme Processing
To check out how we landed on this year’s Collaborated Theme, scroll to the bottom and work your way up through the processing posts.
Maybe it will help spark you own processing for your local theme.
Choosing a Graphic for the Theme Collaboration 2017. We have a theme verse, vision focus statement, a tagline, and 11 graphics to choose from. Click on each graphic to see the larger image. Some graphics have explanations to them as well. You will have until Thursday, May 18th to choose.
The Collaboration Theme 2017 at The Hub has been chosen! Now, we must decide how that theme will be represented as a graphic design. We are opening this part up to all the members of PWOCs everywhere. We need your help!! The body needs your unique skill and talent now!
Narrowing down to 5 taglines. 1. Does your tag line succinctly summarize your vision? .... Subway - “Eat fresh” 2. Is your tag line memorable? .... Nike – “Just Do It.” 3. Is your tag line original, and does it make a confident statement? .... Wheaties - “Breakfast of Champions.” 4. Will your tag line help energize people toward your goals? .... U.S. Army - “Army Strong" The tagline should work as a magnet to quickly draw women into the theme and can emphasize the meaning of the scripture without repeating any of the same words or concepts.
We've chosen 2 Peter 1:3-9 as the scripture that reflects God's calling to us as it pertains to the needs in our PWOC our communities. We must now choose the translation and begin to bring focus to our vision statement.
We are continuing to narrow our focus from in the scriptures. As you review our assessment of the “Needs of His People Around Us”, describe one or two of these scriptures and why you think they most fit PWOC as a whole today.
In each phase of this process we have to narrow our focus. From the 22 passages that were submitted, we will soon choose one. To do that, look back at list "What are the Needs of His people" and choose 3 Scriptures that most clearly address the theme of those needs. **Remember, for the purpose of writing one collaborative theme, we are considering all PWOCs as one large community.
We've processed who Jesus is and who our audience is. You can find those results in the post. Based on the needs and resources of your PWOC, what might He be calling all of you to do? What common spiritual needs do most of the ladies seem to have in common?
There are specific people in our PWOCs, families, neighborhoods, etc. And some of them are clearly hungry for Christ. Others may not seem to be. Who are the spiritually hungry ladies coming to your PWOCs and how does their uniqueness help us understand their needs?
