“Mom, I just want to come home.”
“Home, here?”
“Yes.”

I have to ask because we live overseas, and this assignment has not really been “home” for our college students except a couple of weeks each year. But it’s not really about the place. It’s about the family. It’s about connecting with those they love the most and feeling connected and more “whole” when they’re here. Safe.

And so we pray.
“Lord, please give an extra measure of Your grace to these young adults who are studying hard to increase their knowledge and skills. Please comfort their hearts when they face loneliness and times of not feeling like they have some place to call a home. Please send Your Spirit to encourage them when they feel overwhelmed and discouraged. Please surround them with positive people who love You and who speak truth into their lives.”

How can you pray for the young adults around you? Or even those across the globe?
