Past PWOC Executive Board Training Experience
Karen Jaedicke has been speaking, teaching and encouraging women in their walk with God for over 25 years. Growing up in a military family and “growing up” one of her own, she has cultivated a passion for the challenges and joys of military life. She has been married to her husband Paul, an Army Chaplain, for 29 years. Her three young adult children (two in the military) give her numerous opportunities for praise and prayer.
Karen gets excited about helping women find a deep connection to God’s Word and to each other. She delights in sharing her life through messages that lead women to realize how relevant and life changing her God can be – no matter what we’ve done, how many times we’ve failed, and how afraid we may be.
Karen began her ministry as a speaker while her husband studied at Dallas Theological Seminary. There, she took a class each semester while also working full time. She spoke at churches and MOPS groups until her husband became an Army Chaplain, and then turned her focus to the ministry of PWOC. She has served as President, Spiritual Life and Titus 2 – all at numerous duty stations, and served on both Area and Regional boards, and committees of the International boards of PWOC. She was an International trainer for 10 years before the organization disbanded, and has continued to hold Regional trainings for the past 3 years. She recently trained PWOC leaders from across the globe at The Gather Conference in Colorado Springs, CO in September of last year. She has also spoken in military Chapels for PWOC Sunday as a guest speaker for the Air Force, Navy and Army, conducts 4-5 retreats a year, and travels to conduct Strong Bonds retreats for Deployed Spouses.
