We’ve had a tie in votes for these 2 scripture verse foundations that express similar thoughts. Let’s take some time to discuss why you chose these scriptures or why you think they fit best with what we are seeing the Lord doing in our vision processing points, especially how the foundational scripture would relate to our “recurring struggles and the Lord’s repeated solution” column. How would you “flesh out” the foundational scripture with that column.
Things to keep in mind that will be determined by our foundational scripture coming up next…
- Create a vision statement from our process – A vision statement is a clearer understanding of unique struggles with faith and obedience, a clearer understanding of the solutions the Lord consistently brought to those struggles, and where we see those themes of struggle and solution in the Scriptures.
- Develop a theme tagline – a key phrase, which captures the essence of what the Scripture calls you to do.
- Create a graphic – a visual representation of the Theme Focus, Scripture, and Tagline.
- Create yearly components – Choose relatable Bible studies and songs, design programs in line with the yearly theme for the spiritual growth and enrichment, and retreats/conferences.

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
Ephesians 4:1- 6
1 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
